Grasping the obvious

When the Sabres win, they're likely to win big. When they lose, boy, can they lose.

Here's the breakdown of the Sabres' games so far:

17 wins ---  76 goals for, 29 goals against

15 losses --- 25 goals for, 60 goals against

Numbers can be analyzed any number of ways, and I'm sure each of you can come up with a different theory as to what those goal stats mean. But here's what Sabres captain Brian Campbell surmised:

"In these games we played really good," he said, pointing to the win column. "In these games," he said, pointing to the losses, "we probably didn't play so good."
