To the Max
After a disastrous start, Maxim Afinogenov has clearly been playing better the last few games. He finally got rewarded with his first goal in 13 games Saturday night and his emotion poured out as he celebrated the sensational play.
When he's right, Afinogenov is easily one of the Sabres' top weapons. When he's off, he can be a turnover machine and a huge liability that drives fans and coach Lindy Ruff crazy.
