Welcome to Opening Day
Say what? Aren't the Sabres still practicing for Sunday's final exhibition game in Detroit? That's true but the season is actually opening for four teams across the Atlantic and you can watch the games today on CBC and NHL Network.
It's the Rangers -- with newly named captain Chris Drury -- meeting the Lightning at noon in Prague and the Penguins and Senators facing off at 2:30 in Stockholm. Same time tomorrow for both matchups on Versus (CBC will only be showing the Ottawa game on Sunday).
