Big oops from Habs' O'Byrne
Ryan Miller's gaffe last month in Minnesota lives again but this one was a lot more serious. Did you see the "own-goal" Monday night by Canadiens defenseman Ryan O'Byrne? With a delayed penalty on the docket, O'Byrne was getting heat from the Islanders' Doug Weight while apparently trying to put the puck behind his net.
So what happened? Watch this one. Quite a way to give up the tying goal with less than five minutes left (and the Isles went on to win in a shootout).

The Canadiens fans are a tough bunch - they are likely to set his house on fire or kidnap his children.

At least forwards are supposed to put the puck in the net; goalies are supposed to keep them out.

Couldn't have happened to a better team.

Sometimes, you-know-what just happens.
