Lalime in, Kaleta out

As expected, Patrick Lalime will start tonight's game against Columbus. Patrick Kaleta will be a healthy scratch for the second straight game.

I was at a bar, and Afinogenov gave away the puck, and everyone started sarcastically clapping. Can we please get rid of this guy? Bring back Kaleta!

I would take Kaleta over Peters any night.

Is Timmy walking?

when will it be Max's turn to sit in the press box? -- hasn't he earned the right to sit out as well?

Interesting. I'm glad to see Peters stay in, he's earned it. However, with Max on that line, it looks a little silly. It could be bad if Max decides to give the puck away. Goose and Peters are going to have to be awful careful defensively

Only one Patrick can play at one time? :(

What are the odds he'll be in against Pittsburgh? My gut tells me he should be. Of course, I'm not an expert, but being pretty familiar with the Pens, they're pretty tough and we'll need the guys who are as willing to block shots as Kaleta is.

Sweet. Anything that leads to more Peters do-se-doing is a winner in my book.

I guess that means Max is playing?? Max looked good in the Thrashers game but has looked terrible the last two games. Unless they are trying to showcase Max for a trade, Kaleta should be playing.

That sends a good message to the other players: take shifts off and ignore coaching advice, you play--play hard and stay within the system, you sit...hopefully, this is an attempt to close the deal with a suitor for Max and nothing else.

Any news on Timmy?
