The real first start of the game was the new jerseys. Thank god the slug is finally being abandoned.
Seriously though, gotta hand it to Roy. Hope he keeps it up tonight.

i always wondered why roy did not shoot more from that location on the power play.
the more he shoots, the more
space it will create for both the point and vanek in front,
not to mention potential rebounds in front if he wrists it or slap shots it from 20 to 30 fee....
in full strength, you would take that shot 80 percent of the time, and he should continue to force the goalie to play him honestly from that position, and the effects will be positive for power play...
