Pair of oranges, anyone?

Sanity might be prevailing. Looks like the city is thinking about selling the Orange seats from the Aud before the building is demolished, just as it did last month with the Blues. The city grossed more than $300,000 from sales of the blues and was apparently surprised by the take.

How can it be such a surprise? It was OBVIOUS to anyone paying attention and anyone with a shred of knowledge about the sports memorabilia world that there was going to be a huge and lucrative market for Aud seats. I think most of us could have told the city, say, 12 years ago that we all want to get our hands on those seats -- and that the Oranges would be more popular than the Blues!

Sometimes you wonder how people running this city can be so clueless about what's going on.
