More waiting for Tallinder
PHILADELPHIA -- Lindy Ruff won't be forced to make a decision tonight on his defense pairs because the Sabres are going to wait at least another game on Henrik Tallinder's shoulder. Ruff said after today's morning skate that Tallinder won't be in the lineup for the matchup with the Flyers.
In other news, Ruff said he was not aware of Thomas Vanek's web diary that said 3-4 weeks is an optimistic timetable for Vanek's return from his fractured jaw.
"I didn't know he had a web site. Maybe it's Austrian time then," Ruff cracked. "It might not be American time. He's back exercising now. We'll see where he's at. Obviously that timeframe can change but right now we're trying to be realistic at pushing that 3-4 week range."
