Looks like Lalime again
OTTAWA -- Why take out the hot goaltender? It appears the Sabres won't.
There's a skeleton crew at the morning skate, a common sight on the second day of back-to-back games. Most players aren't here, but the most notable is Patrick Lalime. The only netmnder is Mikael Tellqvist, who continues to get advice from goalie coach Jim Corsi.
It appears by giving Lalime the morning off the Sabres will give him his third game in four nights. He deserves it, as Mike Harrington wrote for today's paper.
The skaters on the ice are forwards Matt Ellis, Clarke MacArthur and Andrew Peters, while the defensemen are Teppo Numminen and Nathan Paetsch. In other words, expect the same lineup for the Senators as Friday night's 5-1 victory over Phoenix.
