Miller takes a light skate
The Sabres are on the ice in HSBC Arena but the biggest news of the day might come from what took place before practice: Ryan Miller was on the ice working lightly with goaltenders coach Jim Corsi and fellow netminders Patrick Lalime and Mikael Tellqvist. But don't get too giddy about that nugget because Miller was in sweats and a baseball cap, although he was wearing his leg pads.
That's certainly a first step, however, to getting Miller back. The Sabres insist he will be back at some point this season but time's a wastin' and the playoff race is hanging by a thread. Stay tuned.
