Report: Flyers choose Emery over Biron

Broad Street will soon have a new bully. The Philadelphia Daily News is reporting the Flyers have agreed to a one-year, $1.5 million contract with goaltender Ray Emery. It apparently ends the two-year crease reign of Martin Biron, who was looking for a long-term deal with high digits than Emery commanded.

Predictably, the readers here voted overwhelmingly in favor of Biron, a well-liked former Sabre. Almost as predictably, the Flyers decided to try someone else in net. They never quite find the solution. But, as the video below shows, they always find a new job.
