Sabres release training camp schedule

The Sabres have released schedule for their opening week of training camp, and the public is permitted to attend all sessions in HSBC Arena.

Training camp begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday with on-ice testings by the veterans. The rookies and prospects, who arrived in town Tuesday for their official start, will take the ice at 1 p.m.

The rest of the schedule, which is subject to change:

Sunday, September 13     Practice Group, 10:30 a.m.; Scrimmage, 12:30 p.m.

Monday, September 14    Practice Group, 7:30 a.m.; Scrimmage, 9:30 a.m.

Tuesday, September 15   Practice Group, 10:30 a.m.; Scrimmage, 12:30 p.m.

Wednesday, September 16 Practice Group, 10:30 a.m.; Scrimmage, 12:30 p.m.

Thursday, September 17 Game group, 10 a.m.; Scrimmage, 11:30 a.m.; Washington at Buffalo, 7 p.m. (tickets required)

Friday, September 18 Practice Group, 10:30 a.m.; Scrimmage, 12:30 p.m.

Saturday, September 19 Buffalo at Detroit, 7 p.m.
