No changes at practice

The Sabres are skating in HSBC Arena in preparation for Thursday's visit by the Phoenix Coyotes. The lines are the same as they were leading up to the opener, despite the improving health of Adam Mair (hip):

Thomas Vanek-Derek Roy-Tim Connolly

Clarke MacArthur-Tim Kennedy-Jason Pominville

Jochen Hecht-Paul Gaustad-Mike Grier

Drew Stafford-Matt Ellis-Patrick Kaleta

Extra line: Daniel Paille-Mair-Nathan Paetsch

All the defensemen -- Chris Butler, Craig Rivet, Andrej Sekera, Steve Montador, Henrik Tallinder, Tyler Myers and Toni Lydman (in addition to Paetsch, filling in as forward -- are on the ice. Lydman is acting as the seventh defenseman.
