I agree, Donjoe. Roloson might already be on waivers. Switch the goalies and I think you may have just switched the score as well. It wasn't that Miller was exceptional, he was good (and real lucky), but Roloson was just plain garbage.
But, as we Sabre fans know from years past, we can't be apologizing for having the better goalie.

Roloson was easily the star of the game for the Sabres. Without the two muffs he let in, this game could have gone the other way as the Isles missed open nets in the second period. Impressed by the Isles overall team speed and hustle.

Didn't seem that bad to me. They were a Miller misplay away from a pretty easy win. Even with it, it never got to a 1 goal game. Enjoy the win. There was no let down in effort.

The Sabres were weak at times.
The Sabres were lazy at times.
Weak, lazy, careless and uncaring (2 of the same but different) , invisible and stupid -- all good ways to describe the game tonight. The Sabres were timid as well. Their breakouts were off. The Islanders were the better team more often than the Sabres were.
Still with all that, Win is what matters. The Sabres won a game they wouldn't of last season.
