Ankle sprain for Butler
Sabres defenseman Chris Butler sprained his ankle early in the first period of Thursday's 6-2 win over Montreal. He was walking with a slight limp on the way out of HSBC Arena.
"You don’t really know what the time table would be for that, and I’m not even going to try to guess," coach Lindy Ruff said. "We feel that it’s a little bit on the lighter side, which is good."
