Lindy Ruff said after practice Tuesday he never likes to make blanket statements about anything after only 20+ games. He wants to see 40 or 50. Phooey to that. Blanket statements are us. And it was the folks in Toronto, players and media, throwing around "best in the world" praise at Ryan Miller after Monday's shutout.

Miller was his usual unassuming self when I talked to him about that topic for our story in Wednesday's paper. A quarter season doesn't make a career obviously but this has been Miller's best stretch and it seems he's taken his game to another level. So I ask: Who's at the top of your list right now?
