Pirates land three

Three Buffalo Sabres prospects playing for the Portland Pirates will be playing in the American Hockey League All-Star game Jan. 19 in Portland.

Rookie forward Tyler Ennis, tied for the team lead in points, will play for Team Canada.

Forward Nathan Gerbe, now on injured reserve with the Sabres, and defenseman Mike Weber will play for the PlanetUSA team. Gerbe and Weber will be starters.
