Regier: A good day for the roster

Darcy Regier says this trade deadline day was a good one for his roster. The Sabres' general manager acquired a big-bodied forward with scoring potential in Raffi Torres, gained a draft pick and didn't lose any core players from his roster.

Regier met with the media late this afternoon and discussed his appreciation for the departing Clarke MacArthur and Nathan Paetsch, how Torres fits in with the Sabres, the GM's belief in his core, the expectation of Tyler Ennis and others to push their way onto the roster, his decision to keep unrestricted free agents to be Henrik Tallinder and Toni Lydman, and the trade deadline in general. The video and audio are below.
