Stempniak to Phoenix

West Seneca native Lee Stempniak is on the move, going from the Toronto Maple Leafs to the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for a fourth- and seventh-round pick.

Stempniak has 14 goals and 16 assists in 60 games.

"I want to thank Lee. He's a quality person," Toronto General Manager Brian Burke said. "I don't think it worked out like Lee liked or the Maple Leafs liked, but he gave us an honest effort."
