The ugly numbers

Let's update the Sabres' tale of woe after Wednesday's 3-1 loss to Washington:

----Their record was 30-11-6 after their 7-2 win Jan. 18 at Phoenix. Since then, they are 3-9-3 overall and 0-6-2 on the road.

---The Sabres are 1-6-2 in their last nine.

---In their last 19 games, they are 5-9-5 overall and have won just three times in regulation. Three times in 19 games!

---The Buffalo power play is 1 for 27 in the last eight games. In that same span, however, the penalty killers are 25 for 30.

Raffi Torres should help fix all of those numbers in a jiffy, eh?
