The top four teams in the East went 1-3 in Game One, with only the Sabres winning. Montreal beat top-seeded Washington tonight in overtime, 3-2 -- and held Alexander Ovechkin without a shot for 73 minutes!
(After Vancouver's overtime win over Los Angeles late Thursday night, the top four teams in the West are 2-1 so far.)
Pretty good job by the Sabres to avoid the early upset. Even though it's only one game in, any doubt the East is wide open? Particularly when the Sabres have Ryan Miller and every other team with the exception of the Devils has huge questions in goal?
