The Sabres' main training camp opens Friday at HSBC Arena and there will be 58 players (33 forwards, 20 defensemen and five goalies). Veterans report Friday at 9 a.m. for physicals and on-ice testing and that session is closed to the public. You can go at 1 p.m. for the final rookie camp scrimmage.

Here's the rest of the schedule for the first week, leading to the Sept. 25 preseason opener in the arena against Toronto. All of these sessions are open to the public and select concession stands will be open.
Saturday (Puck Drop 2010): 9:45 a.m. practice, 11:30 a.m. jersey unveiling, 11:45 a.m. scrimmage.

Monday: 9:45 a.m. practice, 11:45 a.m. scrimmage
