Tie on Day Two of scrimmages

The Sabres' second day of training camp featured a scrimmage between Team Norty and Team Punch, with the squads splitting the available points.

They tied, 1-1, in the five-on-five scrimmage with Punch forward Mike Grier firing a low slap shot past Patrick Lalime and Brian Roloff answering for Team Norty. The Punch squad dominated the four-on-four portion of practice, earning a 2-0 victory on goals by Thomas Vanek and Steve Montador.

Norty got revenge in the shootout, earning a 2-0 victory on goals by Jerome Gauthier-Leduc and Tyler Ennis.
