Andrew Peters has been uprooted from Western New York as the Florida Panthers have traded the former Sabres enforcer to Vancouver for fellow fighter Darcy Hordichuk. The Panthers waived Peters last week, and the winger was set to play in Rochester.
Update: According to this update from the Rochester D&C, Peters will be staying with the Amerks. He's been loaned by Vancouver back to Rochester, at least for now.
In other Panthers news involving former Sabres, Florida has placed defenseman Nathan Paetsch on waivers. He could be sent to Rochester if he clears.
