Looking forward to picking up some World Series gear in Arlington before heading to the rink to hear from Craig Rivet. I'm curious as to whether he'll pull a Lindy Ruff and give up the captaincy and get a trade after getting benched Friday, or if he'll use it as motivation. Either way, should be an interesting chat. He was obviously too angry to talk Friday night when I approached him.
That situation is probably the only thing that's keeping me at the Sabres game tonight instead of calling in sick to go watch the Giants. Well, that and my integrity.
