Third jersey debuts tonight in Sabres' home opener

After returning around 1 a.m. from their win in Ottawa, the Sabres are having a meeting and probably only a few players will skate this morning here in HSBC Arena. One piece of news lots of folks will want to know has already been revealed in tonight's game notes: The Sabres will debut their new blue third jerseys in tonight's game. The script "Buffalo" is an ode to the old Bisons and will be worn in 12 home games, the team said. After tonight, the next one is Nov. 3 against Boston.
