West Seneca's Mueller signs with Predators

CALGARY -- Strike up another local boy in the NHL. West Seneca native Chris Mueller, a teammate of Tim Kennedy on Michigan State's 2007 NCAA championship team, has signed a free agent contract with the Nashville Predators and is expected to make his NHL debut Tuesday night against Dallas.

Mueller, 24, was playing with Milwaukee of the AHL, where he was ranked second on the Admirals in both goals (12) and points (20) in his second season with the club.
