Pegula on CBC at 6:40

TORONTO -- Terry Pegula will be interviewed live on CBC's "Hockey Tonight" pregame show tonight at about 6:40. The pregame show is also broadcast over the NHL Network. The Sabres-Maple Leafs game itself is on its usual spot on MSG at 7.

Pegula was in Springfield, Mass., last night with GM Darcy Regier to watch the Portland Pirates move into first place in the Atlantic Division with a 5-3 win over Springfield. They were scheduled to drive to Toronto today. I'm told Pegula likes driving and is as apt to do that to get places as he is to hop into a plane.

John Vogl and I both chatted with CBC host extraordinaire Elliotte Friedman, one of the media world's great guys, during today's morning skate and he was pumped about talking to Pegula. A big, big forum for the Sabres' new owner.
