Greetings from HSBC Arena, where the Sabres are just about to start their morning skate. Unless the Sabres win this series against the Flyers, this will be the final morning skate in Buffalo until October.
(Even if they go to Game Six at home, it's an afternoon game so there won't be a morning workout.)
While pondering that and the absence of spring hockey (seriously, what's with this weather?), here are a couple of quick polls for you.

Mike Harrington, a Canisius College graduate who began his career as a News reporter in 1987, is in his sixth season covering the Buffalo Sabres. He is a member of the Professional Hockey Writers Association and can vouch that exposed flesh freezes instantly when walking in downtown Winnipeg in January.
