The Sabres have just taken the ice for their morning skate, and Ryan Miller is the first goalie to make an appearance. He's already set up in the crease he normally occupies for practices, and teammates are lightly shooting pucks at him.
Miller will again watch Jhonas Enroth play goal tonight when the Sabres host the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Sabres have a three-point lead over Carolina with three games remaining, putting their magic number at three points. The earliest the Sabres can clinch a playoff spot is Wednesday night, and they can do that if they beat the Lightning tonight and the Hurricanes lose to Detroit on Wednesday.
