ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Adam Clendening hoped to hear his name called in the first round. When the Niagara Falls' defenseman fell to the second round, he just wanted to hear it soon. Chicago obliged, picking him sixth.
He is a power-play specialist, and with the Blackhawks' trade of Brian Campbell, Clendening is hopeful he can compete for a job.
