Jochen Hecht became the first Sabre to get dinged up at training camp.
Hecht got clipped in the mouth during the Sabres' final practice group of the day. He left the ice for stitches and returned, but he is not back out for the group's second on-ice session.
The injury likely should not force him to miss any additional time.
