Derek Roy is listed as day-to-day with a shoulder strain suffered Friday night in Toronto.
"It was just off the faceoff, kind of a stick-on-stick, awkward twist on my arm," the Buffalo center said today in First Niagara Center. "It was just a little tender around the muscle. It was preseason so we decided to just take the game off.
"It feels good. A little bit sore when I woke up, but right now with treatments it feels good."
Said coach Lindy Ruff: "He’s OK. He may miss a few days, but nothing serious. I would hope he’d be ready by late in the week even, for the last preseason game."
