Hecht on home ice and a German TV network's view of the Sabres' trip

Jochen Hecht is sidelined with a concussion but still got plenty of love from his hometown fans Tuesday in Mannheim. Here's an NHL.com video that gives a glimpse of the atmosphere in SAP Arena as Hecht flips pucks in the stands and accepts the chants of the singing crowd. Wild.

And here's a German television report on the Sabres' practice Monday. Love the translation over the interviews with Lindy Ruff, Ryan Miller and a couple Buffalo fans on the AAA Travel tour group.
