Sabres back on ice in Buffalo, with new dressing room waiting

The Sabres are on the ice in First Niagara Center, their first session since returning from Germany early Sunday morning. When they get done with the practice session, they'll retreat to their refurbished dressing room.

The hallway from the room to the ice is nearly complete, and it is impressive in its nod to the team's past. The names and pictures of members of the Sabres' Hall of Fame are on one wall, and the retired jersey numbers and pieces of Memorial Auditorium are on the opposite wall. Pictures are below.

Later today, News photographer Sharon Cantillon will have photos of the dressing room, which will open when the players get done skating.

Nothing new on the ice. All the players are present, with the exception of third goalie Drew MacIntyre, who has been sent to Rochester.
