The back and forth between the NHL and its players' association continued today.
The NHLPA presented a counterproposal to the offer the league delivered Tuesday, Executive Director Donald Fehr told reporters in New York this afternoon. The NHL is expected to examine the offer and is tentatively scheduled to resume negotiations with the players tonight.
The sides have exchanged four offers in less than a week. The NHL also made a comprehensive proposal Thursday, and the union responded Monday.
