Poll: With Sabres ready to rebuild, pick the players they should trade

By John Vogl

PITTSBURGH -- Darcy Regier has concluded the team he put in place in Buffalo is not ready to win the Stanley Cup.

"We have to be realistic about where we are and the direction we're going," the Sabres' general manager said on a conference call Monday night after trading defenseman Robyn Regehr to Los Angeles for two second-round picks. "We're really going to look toward building this team, not just to make it into the playoffs but go deep into the playoffs.

"No one is quite sure of the timeline, but we're going to focus on next season."

Regier said over the weekend he is open to offers on all his players, so take your pick as to who should go. Click on as many players as you like.
