Sabres cancel Blue and Gold carpet event because of rain; lineup set

The Sabres' grand entrance to their game tonight has been washed out.

The players were scheduled to arrive at First Niagara Center at 4:30 this afternoon and greet fans alongside a Blue and Gold carpet prior to facing the Toronto Maple Leafs. The festivities, which were set to include music and concessions, have been canceled due to rain.

The Leafs and Sabres will faceoff at 7 p.m.

The Sabres' lineup will be:
