There were no shakeups in the line combination or defensive pairings at the Buffalo Sabres 70-minute practice at First Niagara Center Monday morning.
The lines were:
Matt Moulson-Cody Hodgson-Drew Stafford
Tyler Ennis-Ville Leino-Steve Ott
Marcus Foligno-Zemgus Girgensons-Brian Flynn
John Scott-Cody McCormick-Corey Tropp
Mikhail Grigorenko and Johan Larsson were the extra skaters rotating in for rills.
Defensive pairings were:
Christian Ehrhoff-Mark Pysyk
Henrik Tallinder-Tyler Myers
Jamie McBain-Rasmus Ristolainen
Nikita Zadorov-Mike Weber
Weber, still on the team's injured reserve list with a thumb injury, said he will be evaluated by doctors today and Tuesday morning. Ted Nolan said that he expected Weber to be ready to go against the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday night. That would require a roster move. While Nolan gave no definite plans it is likely that Zadorov could return to his junior team while there could also be some movement between Rochester and Buffalo.
After a week on the job, Nolan said his perception has changed, for the better, about the team.
They're not that bad. They just need some direction," he said.
