The reaction from Rochester

by Amy Moritz

While the Buffalo Sabres made huge organizational changes on Wednesday, how that will impact the Rochester Americans is yet to be seen.

Amerks head coach Chadd Cassidy addressed the media after the team's practice today. Cassidy said he spoke with ousted Sabres coach Ron Rolston as the team drove back from a 3-1 win in Hamilton for a morning school kids game and noted that he doesn't know of the plans that Pat LaFontaine may have for the AHL affiliate and its developmental direction.

"We have to focus on what we can control and as a team and focus on winning games and putting ourselves in the best possible position," Cassidy said.
