Highlights from the Sabres' victory in Phoenix

By John Vogl

PHX -- Good early morning from the Phoenix airport, where it's time to leave the warmth of Phoenix for the snowy town with a Super Bowl glow, Denver.

The Sabres left following their 3-2 victory over the Coyotes, which featured a winning short-handed goal by Zemgus Girgensons. Read all about it here.

Buffalo lost Matt Moulson to an arm injury in the third period, and his status will be evaluated today. He was in serious pain well after the game.

Ryan Miller made 38 saves to improve to 8-3-3 in his last 14 decisions. Hear his thoughts here.

Rookie Chad Ruhwedel had four shots and three blocked shots while playing 17:04 along the blue line. Alex Sulzer added an assist and four blocked shots in 21:38. Here's the event sheet.

And, without further ado, here are the highlights.
