Sabres recall Ristolainen, Larsson

By John Vogl

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The reinforcements are back.

With injuries up and down the lineup, the Sabres have recalled defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen and forward Johan Larsson from Rochester on an emergency basis. They are expected to play tonight when the Sabres visit the Nashville Predators.

Ristolainen just spent five games with the Sabres, but he was sent down when Tyler Myers returned to the lineup Tuesday in Montreal. Myers got banged up again against the Canadiens, so Ristolainen is back.

The Sabres have injuries up front to Zenon Konopka and Torrey Mitchell, so Larsson is on his way. He hasn't played for Buffalo since early January.
