Ryan Miller will not start for Blues against Sabres on Thursday

The News' Mike Harrington has tweeted the following this afternoon from St. Louis, where the Sabres will face the Blues on Thursday night. Ryan Miller will not be starting for the Blues, who have key matchups against conference rivals this weekend:

@BNHarrington

  • The scuttle here is what I figured: Miller likely NOT playing tomorrow cuz #Stlblues play COL on Sat and CHI on Sunday. Both day games too.
  • Ryan Miller confirms he's NOT playing tomorrow night. #Sabres #Stlblues
  • Hitchcock asked Miller if he wanted to play but Miller is focused on big ones this weekend. Miller said much bigger deal if game was in BUF.
  • Miller: "I'm pretty fresh leaving that situation so maybe it's just a nice little break. ... It's going to be a little strange."
  • Miller did say he's hoping to catch dinner with some of his ex-teammates tonight. #Stlblues #Sabres
