Coast-to-coast action awaits as the nation's two largest cities resume their once-bitter rivalry.
Los Angeles secured its spot in the Stanley Cup final Sunday with a Game Seven, overtime victory in Chicago. The Kings ended the thrilling series with the Blackhawks, 5-4, when Alec Martinez's point shot redirected off Chicago defenseman Nick Leddy and found the net with 5:47 gone.
Los Angeles has won Game Seven in all three of its playoff series this year.
"It's just a trust system in this room as the result of being together for hundreds of games," Kings captain Dustin Brown said. "Climbing the hill once. Then trying to do it again. We know what to expect and we expect a lot from each other."
Patrick Sharp had two goals and Patrick Kane added two assists for Chicago, which led three times Sunday night at home -- 2-0, 3-2 and 4-3.
"This was a tough way to go down. This one's going to sting for a while," Chicago captain Jonathan Toews said.
New York will travel to L.A. to open the final Wednesday.
