Foligno resigns with Sabres for $3.75 million

by Amy Moritz

There's no messing around on free agency day for Buffalo Sabres GM Tim Murray.

Add Marcus Folingo to the list of players signed today. The 22-year-old forward signed a two-year, $3.75 million deal. He has played 135 games over three seasons for the Sabres, scoring 18 goals with 32 assists.

Last season he scored seven goals with 12 assists and was a minus-17 in 74 games.

Foligno was drafted by the Sabres in the fourth round in 2009. He is a Buffalo native and son of Sabre Hall of Fame forward Mike Foligno.
