Sabres add another defenseman, bring in Meszaros for reported one year, $4.125 million

Tim Murray just won't quit.

The Sabres haved added their fifth piece of the day, signing defenseman Andrej Meszaros for one year and $4.125 million, according to TSN. He joins acquisitions Josh Gorges, Brian Gionta, Matt Moulson and Cody McCormick.

Meszaros, 28, spent last season with Philadelphia and Boston, putting up a combined seven goals and 15 assists in 52 games. He has also played for Ottawa and Tampa Bay, totaling 56 goals and 224 points in 585 games.

The signing pushed the Sabres over the salary cap floor.
