The progress toward alternative fuels for vehicles and other machines is getting a boost from two area companies. Tonawanda-based ENrG Inc. and Niagara Falls-based TAM Ceramics are teaming up to create membranes and powders that are used in fuel cells. Both received grants from the NY State Energy Research and Development Authority to further their efforts.
Computer Task Group continues to find its strength in computerized medical records. The Buffalo-based company boosted profits by 24 percent largely on the hospital-focused area of its business.
M&T Bank has released its smart phone app for business customers. So that guy you see playing with smart phone may be making payroll.
