A biotech conference next month in Rochester is drawing life-sciences companies, research universities and other industry representatives from across the state.
The MedTech trade association is holding its annual conference Oct. 7 and 8 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Rochester, and a number of companies and institutions with ties to the Buffalo area are participating.
The conference is meant to help biotech companies navigate regulatory and economic challenges while boosting efforts to bring innovation from the laboratory to the public, MedTech announced today. It features training sessions and a technology showcase.
Participants from this area include Polymer Conversions, the Hodgson Russ and Phillips Lytle law firms, two University at Buffalo offices that encourage technology transfer, Moog's medical devices division and Greatbatch Medical.
Registration is open through Oct. 4. Register online at http://medtech.org/annual-conference/default.aspx or contact Nichole Wenderlich Owens, MedTech's marketing and events manager, at (315) 423-7200 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
