The Rocket

60 Minutes had three compelling interviews on Sunday night: A strongman, Pakistan President Pervez Musharaff; a hit man, former Boston mob guy John Martorano, and an aspiring con man, Roger Clemens. Clemens, speaking with aging icon Mike Wallace, insisted that he was never injected with steroids and HGH by his former trainer, Brian McNamee, as alleged in the Mitchell Report.

I found Clemens to be the least believable of the three notorious figures. I don't buy his story that he never took steroids. At this point in the steroids game, I don't believe anybody. Call me a cynic, but if I'm going to bury Barry Bonds and Marion Jones, I'm not going soft on Clemens. McNamee had no incentive to lie about injecting The Rocket. He had incentive to tell the truth.

What do you think? Do you believe Clemens or his former trainer?
