Jauron Must Go

Dick Jauron was asked at the end of Sunday's post-game press conference if he felt he would be coaching for his job over the final month of the season. In his typically bland way, Jauron said he felt he was coaching for his job every time he took the field. As usual, he didn't show a trace of anger, defiance or emotion.

Well, I said two weeks ago that until I get confirmation of a contract extension, Jauron is a lame duck and coaching for his job. In Tuesday's News, I revisit the issue and take things a step farther. Let's just say I don't need another month to make my mind up about the guy.

Where is my comment from last week Jerry - no guts to post opposing views to yours?

I would be happy to simply see Jauron have the team practice outside just once after October. We are no better prepared for the bad-weather games than the West Coast teams.

Bill Crehan should be barred from posting on this site because he can't spell. Actually, all Sully haters should be barred. TWEED FOREVER!

The news shoulf fire you Sully

"Wow, now Lloyd is re-writing New York Estate Law. The guy is amazing."

You could also say... "His ideas are REVOLUTIONARY!"

The NFL is a bad product. Just listen to what Joe D said on the radio the other day.
The previous writer mentions the Bills being the 'lifeblood' of the region. What kind of life is that? We're all better off doing something else with out time.

Some of you people need to stop crying and seriously go root for another team.

Wilson is trying to run a winning organization, he is just incompetent. The man spends money and supports his brass going after top free agents: Spikes, Adams, Milloy, Dockery, etc. etc. and Wilson foots the bill when the Bills sign their "good" players to big contracts: Evans, Schobel, etc. So let's not pretend they aren't trying, they are.

Wilson is a bad owner in the sense that he doesn't know how to pick the right people to run his football operation, obviously, but your "boycott" isn't going to change that. He isn't going to sell the team and he isn't going to become Bob Kraft overnight.

If you want to stop buying tickets, good for you, but if everyone followed your lead we wouldn't have a team in Buffalo and that's clearly worse than having a team run by an incompetent owner.

The Bills are bigger than Ralph Wilson and if all you care about is rooting for a winning team, I hear they got a nice team out there in Boston, nice knowing you. I'll stick by the team that I grew up with and the team that represents the lifeblood of this city.

Lloyd - I agree with everything you have written.

The problem is -(this is bad) The people in Buffalo are dumb SH$%TS - they live in a dream world thinking the Bills and Sabres are going to win a title.

The sick thing is they come close like the Sabres did a couple of years ago and p#ss it all away.

The Bills - well the NFL is SUPER competitve - The Bills of the 90's had grit , talent and mgmt - You will NEVER SEE that again in Buffalo. You gotta have the right mix and Ralph doesn't want it.

The fans - they dream and hope after a couple of wins - PLEASE WAKE UP !!!

Amir: Unless Bills fans start demanding more and better from the team, and force the Bills and their handlers to choose between putting out or getting out, this mediocrity will only continue.

They didn't know what they were doing in choosing this sad sack of a coach, Dick Jauron, and Jauron's record here proves that.

It's been far too long since the Bills made the playoffs... 1999 was their last playoffs with "Music City Miracle," and their last playoff win was 1995 at home vs. Miami.

Fans: It's time to send a message to Ralph... "Either get rid of Jauron and his coaching staff(except Bobby April), and hire a SUCCESSFUL head coach and a SUCCESSFUL GM and LET THEM ALONE as they do their work in bringing this team back to playoff and Super Bowl contention---or we STOP buying tickets, STOP buying Bills merchandise, STOP watching/hearing the games, and otherwise STOP supporting this team! We've suffered mediocrity for far too long, and we say IT ENDS NOW!!! Do you want a winner, or not? Do you want the seats filled, or vast pockets of empty seats? Now's not a time to F--- around, Ralph! DECIDE NOW!"

Bill Cowher is being named as a potential candidate to replace Romeo Crennell in Cleveland. Time for Ralphie to show some moxie and make a pre-emptive strike. Otherwise... whoever takes Bill Cowher, that's who I'll root for.

Don't mean to sound mean-spirited, but this is the kind of message that's sorely needed at present.
